Customer Service Representative I performs in a Call Center environment providing professional and timely support to consistently satisfy customers. The Customer Service Representative demonstrates a key role in advancing efforts to provide an unparalleled customer experience to Dealers, Independent Sales Reps and End Users. The position reports to a Customer Service Supervisor and located in our Irwindale facility. Essential responsibilities include: • With training acquired in the 8-week onboarding, follows basic procedures and scripts • Provides professional and empathetic support aligned with brand • Processes phone order timely and accurately, updates customer records, and responds to phone calls from customers in a thorough and professional manner • Processes product returns and enters return authorizations, providing the customer the needed documents for return processing • Accurately operates CRM technology (Dynamics), advanced VOIP phone systems (ShoreTel) and Oracle ERP to support customer and team needs • Identifies and recommends customer service and process enhancements that elevate our service to our customers. • Works effectively in a team environment to provide superior customer service • Participates in Update training related to products • Communicates through email notifications to Sales and Production Departments • Actively participates in one: one monthly coaching meetings with Supervisor • Provides feedback to Supervisor on quality related trends from customer calls for continuous improvement • Embraces “finding a way to Yes” in satisfying the customer
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: • High school degree or equivalent required • 1+ years of previous experience in a call center customer service role or similar environment. • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Must have availability to work assigned schedule • High level of accountability, accuracy, and professionalism • Excellent follow-through, attention to details, problem-solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills • Self-starter, conscientiousness, a strong work ethic, and a strong commitment to quality • Previous experience with cabinet and/or door hardware is a plus Work environment: Office (or cubicle) setting Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
